Large Scale Print + Digital Design for Nike’s 2018 Air Max Day Campaign
A community, research and public-health consulting collaborative. Using a community-participatory-action approach, the group informs policy and resource-distribution for the improvement of community health.

Spent a few weeks doing a crash course in Chinese culture, the very extensive rules and conditions in Chinese language and the culture in relation to American carryouts.
The biggest thing I had to take in consideration is this day in age where any and everything could be deemed offensive to any and everybody. I had to make sure that the idea being conveyed to the end-user is within respect and not cultural appropriation.
Referring to a colleague for assistance, who teaches Chinese, the characters 带走 translate to "take-away, although the characters are interchangeable with another set (打包), depending on the region. I created some supplemental graphics along with the two main lockups based on inspiration from the late Massimo Vignelli, the guy responsible for the symbolism in New York and DC Metro subways today.
VibeNation is a web platform designed to connect people to positive, social events and entertainment across the USA.
The Logo:
The single-most recognized symbol of good vibes, trouble-free and a great time: The peace sign.
I used the capital letter 'V' to symbolize the extension of the index and middle fingers and used the lowercase letter 'n' to complete the depiction of a peace sign.

A modernized update for a historic organization celebrating 100 years in education, health care and public service.
Approaching the design from a literal perspective, I created the image of a pillar within a square academic cap. Together it forms a union of strength in principle, structure and education.
